  • I just got my pool heater and heat pump installed and I think it began leaking from the heater. What do I do?

Heat pumps often generate more condensation than expected. We recommend using two pool test strips to compare the water in your pool with the suspected leak. If the chlorine or cyanuric acid levels differ, it's likely condensation. If you're still concerned, please contact us to schedule an inspection.
  • What are ways to save money when I am buying a pool with Riken Pools?

To save money on your pool purchase, consider using check, cash, or in-store debit card transactions. You can also make an early deposit for next season's installation to avoid price increases. Additionally, we offer discounts for military veterans and first responders with valid proof of service.
  • Do you need a permit when you are replacing an existing pool?

Yes, permits are required when replacing an existing pool. The specific requirements may vary depending on the scope of work. Our knowledgeable team is available to guide you through the permit process and provide necessary information.
  • Do you have samples of pools to see at your store?

Our store features a small display showcasing two above ground pools and one semi-inground pool. The semi-inground model includes an external thermoplastic walk-in step and rest combination for your reference.
  • Where do I start when my pool turns green or looks like a swamp?

Begin by collecting a water sample, then add a single dose of shock to your pool and thoroughly scrub the entire surface. Bring a water sample to our store and ask about our 'shock and flock' routine for effective pool cleaning.
  • Can you help with pool repairs?

Our expert technicians can assist with various pool repairs, excluding gunite, cement, and tile work. We service pumps, heaters, saltwater systems, home automation systems, filters, and address pool leaks. We also replace or update old equipment and handle liner issues, providing efficient solutions to identified problems.
  • How much does it cost to purchase and install a pool?

Pool costs vary significantly based on size, type, features, and location. Inground pools typically range from $30,000 to over $100,000, while above-ground pools generally cost between $4,000 and $15,000 or more. Please note that we only install pools and equipment purchased through Riken Pools.

We offer a range of renovation and upgrade services, including liner replacement, equipment upgrades, pool apron repairs, and coping replacement.
